Return & Refund Policy

At Automobile Computer Solutions, we understand that not every vehicle issue is caused by the control module. That’s why we offer a fair and transparent return policy — designed to give you peace of mind with every order.

Return Eligibility & Timeframe

You may return your module under lifetime warranty, whether due to compatibility issues or a change of need. The module must be returned in its original condition to qualify for a refund.

Returns beyond the lifetime warranty will not be accepted.
All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, typically within 3–4 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the module must:

  • Be in original, unaltered condition
  • Show no signs of damage, tampering, or burned traces
  • Be free from physical misuse or improper handling

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply. Shipping and programming fees are non-refundable.

Refunds for Diagnostic Returns

If your issue turns out not to be caused by the ECM/PCM/FICM and the module is returned in proper condition:

  • You may receive a partial refund, minus shipping and applicable restocking fees.
  • In many cases, we are able to apply a diagnostic credit toward a replacement unit or future service.

How to Start a Return

Include the following:

  • Your order or invoice number
  • A brief reason for return

Important: Returns without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Burnt, damaged, or tampered modules
  • Modules returned after lifetime warranty
  • Custom-programmed modules with incorrect vehicle information provided by the customer
